THE ANNUAL AWARDS

2016-2023 Awards

We have decided to retire the annual awards based on category starting 2016. There will be three new awards in Board Games based on length. The Jack Butler Award and the Collectibles Award will still be presented. And we are considering other awards.

To celebrate and salute the best board and card gamers over the course of the year, the convention will track the top 3 scorers in each Tournament (Mega, Big, Tournament, Small, Sponsored, and Special) and Event that is run with at least 4 players in award groups based on game time.

The points people earn will be based on the following table:

The # of players refers to the total players in the event, not in the individual game. For tournaments that have separate qualifying events, the total number of participants across all the qualifying events will be used to calculate the final's points.

The Jack Butler, Collectibles and other awards are based on number of wins. Second and Third places will be reviewed for tie breaking only.

These Annual Awards will be given out Saturday at 8 pm during Orccon. We reserve the right to remove or modify any part of the awards as we see fit.
